When Mike was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, I found this little card in his wallet when I went to swipe some cash to pay the sweet guys at the valet counter.

I had been in a mental rut for a couple days, finding it hard to find the strength to get back in the fight. It was definitely a God wink to find this. I had forgotten that he had laminated this little card over three years ago.

Many days I wish I could as mentally strong as he is, no chance of e every being as physically strong and Balt to handle pain :) But his mental game is what I admire every minute of everyday.

He really and truly does not feel sorry for himself or question why this happened to him.

He takes each battle with stride and humor.

I have heard him tell people he has no other choice every time he looks at Jake, Celia, and Graham.

He has been knocked down but with your help he will get back up AGAIN.

The money donated will go to our foundation to help patients, caregivers, and families effected by this disease. It will also go to research for a cure.

But most importantly it will give Mike a little extra love, hope, and courage in his fight to get back up.
