Attention Fight Like Mike Army - Join me IN THE MORNING to PAUSE and PRAY for Mike - 9-10 am Shallow
As many of you know, Mike is in the ICU at Emory fighting an infection in his leg and fluid in his lungs. He’s having a CT scan this afternoon to determine next steps to help him breathe easier.
As Lindsey and Mike move through these difficult waters, I know his army of love, fueled by courage and hope, wants to be there for them in any way we can. So as they Fight Like Mike and trust God to do the rest, we can all pray. In the spirit of SHARING LOVE, THAT’S ALL, I invite you prayer warriors to join me in prayer tomorrow. I’ll be in the chapel at Shallowford from 9-10 am, so come if you can and together, we’ll hold Mike in God’s healing light, offering silent prayers. If you can’t be there physically, please pause to pray at 9 am.
As Lindsey shared in her blog through the turbulence of last last week. . ."In the turbulence of the skies, I thought of this anonymous poem scratched on to a wall by a victim of the Holocaust- 'I believe in the sun, even when it is not shining.
I believe in love, even though I don't feel it. I believe in God, even when he is silent.’”
May our time of collective prayer bring healing and ease. . .and somehow remind Lindsey and Mike of God’s love and light through these dark and difficult days.
Grace and peace,
Kay
